WILEY relationships

Pat

Sounds like you're in for some hours of research but maybe this will help. Assuming I have the right timeframes, Martha is Samuel and Mary's daughter. Martha and George were married 11 Feb 1858 in Batavia. They are in Washington Twp., Clermont in 1860. S.P. and Mary Wiley are in Franklin Twp. in 1860 (Ancestry has him as J.P. but if you look at the other handwriting on the page, its definitley an "S") If you look at the maps on my site http://www.genealogy3.com/Ohio/Clermont/ you'll see that those two townships are side by side near the Ohio River.

Going back you'll find Samuel and Mary Willey still in Franklin Twp. in 1850 with a daughter Martha J., age 11. She is 20 on the 1860 Census.

BTW, I found a marriage record for Sam'l Wiley and Mary Richards in Brown Co. Married 15 Oct 1835

I'm placing this response on the Clermont Co. Bulletin Board on my site as well. Genealogy3 is still under construction but the Bulletin Board (for the entire U.S. and more) is fully functional

Hope this helps
